Welcome to the website of Presentation Convent School, Rawalpindi.  Presentation Convent School has a long tradition in imparting quality education to its students.  The school began in October 1895 with three students when the brave and courageous Mother Ignatius Mc Dermott with her two companions, Sr. Xavier and Sr. Elizabeth arrived in the northern part of the sub continent having responded to the vision of our foundress, Nano Nagle.  Nano Nagle had shared over 100 years previously that she would readily go to any part of the globe to bring the gift of education to children.  Her desire and wish became a reality as those three brave Irish women followed her inspiration into unknown territory in times very different from today.

Over 116 years have passed and in keeping with the vision of our foundress we continue our efforts to impart quality education to all our students, keeping in mind the motto of our school "working together works".  We endeavour to recognize the uniqueness of each of our students as we believe it is a privilege to be entrusted with the development and education of the children. Inspired by our vision we take up the challenge of creating an oasis of peace and happiness within the perimeter of the school, where children feel safe, surrounded by teachers who care for them and fellow students who share the journey of life with them.
The school began with three students while today it is home for over 1740 students and a staff of 80 coming from a variety of backgrounds.  This great mix within our school has enriched us in many ways stretching us far beyond our dreams. Over the years the school has developed in many areas.  Today teachers are guided and trained in new methodology and are constantly being updated to keep abreast of our changing world. Value education is given priority in the school as the challenge of the world today calls for an education that helps people to live in peace and harmony with others.  We try to bring balance to our 'little world' by responding to the needs of our students so that all may develop to their full potential and be at home with themselves and others.
We believe in the importance of developing strong links with the parents of our students.  Regular parent teacher meetings have helped to strengthen those bonds over the years.
As we move through the second decade of the 21st century we pray that God may continue to guide us to deepen the well of wisdom that has brought us thus far.   All things are possible in Him.

Sr. Julie Watson.

Love one another as you have hitherto done. Wherever you go, whatever you do, take God with you. To teach is to touch a life forever.

With the help of God we can do a great deal.
